Located on a vibrant parade in Leicester, CUE is a bright and relaxed space housed in a Victorian terrace with a glazed front and outdoor seating.  The neighbourhood ‘noshery’ is designed to create a welcoming environment in which to bring diverse people together.

CUE is focused on creating a meaningful dining experience beyond those of high street chains to serve the local community with quality products, innovation and a creative approach.

Our vision is simple: quality all day dining, serving the best coffee and local, fresh food – driven by seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.


Our coffee is sourced and roasted with taste, quality and sustainability in mind. The skilled roasting process releases the inherent flavour of the beans, honouring the hard work the farmers and growers put in at origin.

Our house blend is a balanced marriage between sweet toffee Huilas Colombianos, paired with the intensely acidic and citrus notes of the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe.

Careful brewing is essential, so we ensure we brew with scientific precision and care. Our baristas will often weigh the shots to ensure the perfect dose, adjust the grind and even throw out a shot of espresso that is not to our standard.


Our team of talented chefs work tirelessly to create menus that embody our vision. The CUE kitchen  sources fresh produce from local and British suppliers where  the focus is on seasonal, quality ingredients. 

We work with an award winning bakehouse who are dedicated to promoting artisan bread-making and the production of high quality produce.  They use traditional long fermentation methods and never use artificial additives or preservatives.

Our butcher employs a careful sourcing process, which has been developed over many years to identify the best producers of chicken and beef from Britain and around the world.  They have established an Aberdeen Angus Scheme to ensure they maintain the highest standard of beef. 


At CUE, we believe in freshly prepared food that is full of flavour.  Our butcher delivers fresh cuts of Aberdeen Angus brisket and free-range chicken, which we brine for seven days and then smoke low and slow for 12 hours. 

We burn a combination of oak, hickory and mesquite in our smoker to provide each of our meats with a unique and distinct flavour.


Our team can create a truly memorable experience for your event.  With a total capacity for up to 24 guests, the space boasts a large feasting table perfect for parties or a more intimate setting.

We will create a bespoke menu perfect for team breakfast, a working lunch, birthday parties, baby showers, product launches or even a private dining experience.
